Job Description: A mid-level Account and Project Manager to provide management of our large multi-product accounts to include elements of our Website based solution, Strategic Planning, Program Management, and integration of other PR Newswire service offerings. Clients will typically be in the Non-Profit sector. 

 

This position resides in the Website Engagement Group of The Fuel Team, A Division of PR Newswire.  Full-time 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.  Some travel will be required. Office is located in Riverfront Park area – just west of Downtown Denver. Learn more about who we are at http://www.prnewswire.com/products-services/website-engagement/

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for all Engagement Management for Website and PR Related Projects on assigned accounts
  • Project Management for overall Account
  • Education of client stakeholders to understand how our web-based products can meet the needs of website best practices as it relates to clients business or organization
  • Responsible for coordinating with Client Services team on engagement (Client Services performs project management for implementing approved web product projects)
  • Identifying new Sales Revenue Opportunities within account (no cold sales)
  • Assist Sales in development of proposals/scoping
  • Promotion and demonstration of product offerings to organization membership for maximum use by entire organization
  • Developing, recommending, and implementing strategic direction as it relates to PR Newswire products
  • Ensure that work and processes are being executed effectively and efficiently on account and facilitate constant improvement
  • Coordinate sourcing and ongoing management of outside contractors and other PR Newswire groups to fulfill needs of engagement
  • Manage escalation process for resolving service delivery issues with clients and partners
  • Work with product development team so they understand client requirements as needed
  • Participate in product reviews and requirements definition during the development process
  • Work with Sales to provide assistance in developing the necessary Product Sales and Marketing Tools: Demo Sites, Sales Sheets, Training Tools and Misc Support
  • Liaison between Product Development / Implementation / Sales Teams / Product Manager as needed
  • Reports to Director of Operations and VP of Sales to determine tasks, responsibilities, and schedules

 

Qualifications should include:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 6-8 years experience
  • Self-motivated and able to work with limited direction
  • Previous experience in project and account management – very comfortable multi-tasking
  • Must be comfortable with sales role within current accounts
  • Great attention to detail and follow-up
  • Ability to learn new technologies and visualize their applications and benefits
  • Strong understanding of Strategic PR, Marketing, and Web Solutions
  • Familiar with a variety of Internet concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Can communicate with and educate all levels of internet users
  • Essential to have exceptional organizational, coordination, and liaison capabilities with all levels of organizations
  • Excellent Communicator and Strong Ability to Problem Solve
  • Strong Leadership Skills
